(De)coding Data is a self-directed project in which students start from a selected or generated data set to develop visual representations that provide access to and insights into the hidden patterns, details, information, and meaning that the dataset can reveal.

Data

This project will be using information from the OUR WORLD IN DATA, this UI presents several graphs analyses of diabetes. Also, comparing different years could be helpful for the analysis of other Latin American countries. The project focuses on the correlation between the incidence rate of diabetes and economic factors, goods imports (BoP, current US$).

Artefact

From the data I have gathered as well as inputting it into a graph, I then moved on to visualizing my data where the final outcome would be an illustration artifact. For this process, I decided to go withdrawing the data out and make it in a more free and organic way of visualizing.
